About This Tour

Start in Guilin, where karst mountains meet ancient riverside towns. Glide down the Li River to Yangshuo and wake up surrounded by misty hills and tranquil farmland.

Then, head into the highlands of Longji to walk the curves of rice terraces and connect with local ethnic cultures.

This trip blends slow-paced exploration with visual richness at every turn.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guilin

  • Afternoon: Arrive in Guilin and check into your hotel. Get your first glimpse of the karst peaks that make this region famous.

  • Evening: Take a relaxing stroll along Shan Lake, where you can admire the beautifully lit Sun and Moon Pagodas reflected in the water. Enjoy a local dinner of Guilin rice noodles.

  • Morning: Visit Elephant Trunk Hill, Guilin’s iconic rock formation shaped like an elephant drinking from the river.

  • Afternoon: Explore the Reed Flute Cave, a vast network of colorful limestone formations lit with ambient lights.

  • Evening: Optional: Meet with a local landscape photography guide who will help you plan photo opportunities for the rest of the journey.

  • Morning: Embark on a Li River cruise or bamboo raft ride from Guilin to Yangshuo, passing dramatic karst peaks, water buffalo, and fishermen on bamboo rafts.
