About This Tour
The trip begins in Chengdu, home to the famous panda breeding center and Sichuan’s slow-paced charm.
A short drive away is Leshan, where a colossal Buddha watches over rivers from a red sandstone cliff. Continue to Mt. Emei, one of China’s most sacred Buddhist mountains, for serene hikes, temple visits, and breathtaking views.
Families can add an unforgettable volunteer experience at the panda base, perfect for children and wildlife lovers.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Chengdu
Morning: Arrive in Chengdu and transfer to your hotel near the city center.
Afternoon: Stretch your legs at People’s Park, sip jasmine tea at a local teahouse, and watch locals play mahjong.
Evening: Enjoy your first Sichuan hotpot dinner, or opt for something milder like mapo tofu and cold noodles.
Day 2: Pandas & Monasteries
Morning: Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, arriving early to catch the pandas at their most playful.
Afternoon: Head to Wenshu Monastery for a moment of peace, then explore the surrounding vegetarian restaurants and tea gardens.
Evening: Wander through Jinli Ancient Street, lit by lanterns and lined with traditional crafts and snacks.
Day 3: Creative Chengdu
Morning: Start at Taikoo Li, Chengdu’s stylish open-air district full of cafés, shops, and traditional architecture. Great for a relaxed brunch and people-watching.
Afternoon: Explore Eastern Suburb Memory, a former industrial zone turned creative park with murals, boutiques, and art spaces.

Day 4: Travel to Leshan
